    Hi all,

I am considering postgraduate studies in finance and I would appreciate any help from you guys.

I currently have offers from the University of Nottingham and Warwick. I have finished undergraduate studies in Nottingham, therefore, I know it is alright and cost 2.5 times less than Warwick.

Also applied to the Australian National University, waiting for response at the very moment.

The costs of masters are as follows:
    Nottingham – £7k, ANU – £11k, Warwick – £17.5k.

Without scholarship I could not afford Warwick, therefore, I would like to ask if you could help me to decide which one to choose between Nottingham and ANU.

    Many thanks,
    Nerijus

    Hi Nerijus

Could you consider a bank loan for the Warwick course? As I’m sure you know their employment track record is fantastic and so it would probably be a good investment. If not I would say Notingham if you are planning to work in the EU upon graduation

    Thanks, Rico,

I know that Warwick has a better reputation than Nottingham, but hey,is that reputation better 2.5 times(comparing tuition fees)? I don’t think so.

I have a plan to take CFA level 1 qualification along with masters, say, in Nottingham. Besides the fact that I will save ~10k pounds, in my opinion, Nottingham+CFA >= Warwick regarding job prospects.

What thoughts do you have about this?

Its hard to argue against that, 10,000 pounds is a lot of money and especially if you are planning to work outside of the UK its the right decision I would say.
