For anyone interested in studying Engineering in any country around the world
Hi,
I graduated in June 2008. I am joining MSc in Oct 2009. When I complete postgraduation and look for a job, will the year gap be a problem?
cheers
Employers will certainly want to know what you did in that time and it (if it is a selective employer) won’t be enough to say that you prepared for your masters degree study abroad. Have you had any work in that time? Or did you travel to any other countries or do any volunteer work? Any thing to show you were proactive.
Hi rijo
Don’t worry about this, just concentrate on getting a good grade in your studies. If you can get a job or do some volunteer work for the couple of months before your course begins this will help you explain the gap if you are asked about it by employers but don’t worry about this too much, its not a big problem.
